Ya they are pretty basic, but I did the best I could to keep them cheap. Will most likely be able to sell for $7.

The Legally Prohibited from Being Funny on Television Tour

I thought funny had died. Apparently it lives as a stand-up tour until September. Recently Conan has announced "The Legally Prohibited from Being Funny on Television Tour". Unfortunately the tour doesn't visit Florida so I'm forced to visit Atlanta, GA for this event. Tickets aren't cheap and neither is gas or air fare. I might have to call in a few favors but I must make it to this event. You can pick up your tickets here - Click.
For more information visit http://teamcoco.com - I'll be posting my plans for this event when I figure them out. Its a tough decision, 8 hour drive or pay for the flight.
We will miss you Conan!
Coco for short

Well, its over. The last episode of the "Tonight Show with Conan O'Brien" aired tonight. It was just as funny as the first yet the saddest thing to watch in ever. Yes, in ever. I've been a big fan of Conan since I first started watching Late Night back in 2001. I've got the Conan DVDs (including Triumph!) and an autographed "got milk" picture of O'Brien. Tonight was a very very sad night for me. As sad as it was, it couldn't have ended any better. Conan strapped up and played lead guitar along with ZZTOP in a final performance of "Freebird" featuring Will Ferrell as lead vocals and lead cowbell. Although the final show nearly put me in tears, it only makes me long for September. (September being the earliest Conan can have his own show again) It was a great 7 months in my opinion. NBC Universal really screwed this one up. Here's to hoping Jay Leno won't want to become a Java Programmer anytime soon. As always, I'm with Coco.

THE OKDC GETAWAY CRUISE - IM ON A BOAT
Posted by outkastz on Saturday January 16, 2010 9:29 pm
So far nothing official has been set....BUT.... OutKastz.com is planning an official event. This isn't the ordinary go to Universal Studios crap either, this is the real deal. So Eric Gotti, put down the Droid (nice phone btw, and why do both Erics have Droids?) and pay attention. Here is the deal, OutKastz.com will be taking over a cruise, well....not officially taking over, but it is an official event (that counts doesn't it?) No cruise ship or date has been picked yet, but just from the look of things it will most likely be for 5 days and headed to Grand Cayman, Cayman Islands and Cozumel, Mexico during one of the breaks in the 2010-2011 school year. (Leaving out of Tampa, FL of course)
After doing some research, I've found that Carnival cruises will be the most affordable, which brings me down to the most important part: the cost. Here is how I see it, Cruises are expensive. Can't really hide that. Although they are expensive, if planned properly they can be somewhat affordable. Here is the break down, cruises require a non refundable deposit 3 months in advance to lock in the lowest rate. Since we are planning over a year ahead we should have no issues getting that money together. Currently the going rate of the cruise that we are looking at is roughly $279 + tax and gratuity based on double occupancy. (should be around $422.01) What does that mean for us? It means we will need to put away $50/month until the cruise. Leaving us with a good $600+ by the time of the cruise. Meaning all expenses will be paid and money will be left over for shore excursions and/or casino ;-)
Although not all may commit, making sure the money is somewhere we cannot touch it is crucial to the success of this cruise. All of us will need to be held accountable and certain options might be put in place, such as an OutKastz.com savings account that only one person has access to remove money, yet all have access to view or something like a safe to store the money in. I'll do my best to create an online account tracker/checking system so that all monies are accounted for.
I personally would like all OKDC members to attend this event. (You hear me O'Callaghan?!?)
